UI DESIGN PRINCIPLES

Restrained, Trustworthy, Scalable Web Design

Systematic design for long-term reliable results

"

Many first-time website clients naturally understand "good websites" as having lots of animations, flashy effects, and looking "sophisticated."

But in the real business world, these kinds of websites are actually quite rare .

The reason isn't that the technology can't do it, but rather—

They are almost never a good choice in terms of cost, maintainability, and actual results.
01

What Are the Real Goals of Professional Websites?

The vast majority of professional websites truly care about three things:

👤

Quick Understanding

Can users quickly understand who you are

🔍

Find Information

Can they quickly find the information they care about

✓

Complete Actions

Can they smoothly complete the next step

Not about:

✗ Whether this animation is cool
✗ Whether this effect is unique

In recent years, mainstream professional company web design has been continuously moving towards:

Simple, Clean, Restrained, Content-Centered

02

Our Default Minimalist Style Isn't "Conservative"

It's because this is the most stable and effective choice, verified through long-term practice.

Our overall design direction aligns with the mainstream professional product style from Silicon Valley in recent years:

✓ Clear structure
✓ Generous whitespace
✓ Subtle and restrained motion
✓ Content, not decoration, as the hero

The goal of this style is not "stunning at first glance,"

But rather: enduring, trustworthy, and usable long-term.

03

Our Design System Isn't "Random Mixing"

An Important Premise

We don't design websites from a blank slate. We don't provide pure visual creative design services.

Designing a website from scratch can cost thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars in design fees alone.

This is neither what most small businesses truly need, nor does it align with our "standardized, high-quality, controlled-cost" service model.

01

We Use a Semantic Design System

In our system, colors aren't "blue, green, purple," but have clear role divisions:

• Which colors are for backgrounds
• Which are for body text
• Which are for primary actions (CTA)
• Which are just for hints and emphasis

Each color has a clear responsibility boundary.

Whether it looks good isn't based on feeling, but determined by a set of reusable, verifiable rules.

02

Primary Action Color is a "Scarce Resource"

In our system:

→ Primary action buttons (e.g., submit, purchase)
→ Use only one clear "primary action color"
→ Appear very sparingly on the page

If everything is "emphasized," users can't actually distinguish anything.

03

Accent ≠ Action ≠ Status Colors

This is where many ordinary websites get confused. In our system:

Accent Color

For labels, numbers, hints

Action Color

Only for clickable key behaviors

Status Color

Only for success, warning, error system feedback

They are isolated from each other and never mixed. This significantly improves website readability and professionalism.

04

What Customization Do We Provide?

Why Do All Client Websites "Feel Somewhat Similar"?

This is a deliberate design result, not a defect .

• All projects share the same UI component system
• Differences mainly appear in color schemes and content
• Layout, rhythm, and structure are highly consistent

For each project, we typically spend about 1–2 hours specifically on:

Customization Scope

  • ✓ Adjusting overall tone based on industry
  • ✓ Choosing color direction based on your preferences
  • ✓ Fine-tuning component hierarchy, spacing, and presentation

You Can Tell Us

  • → Cool tones or warm tones
  • → Business-like or approachable
  • → Rational or relaxed

All of these are within our system capabilities.

05

What We Won't Do for You

To avoid misunderstanding, we also need to clarify boundaries. We will not:

✗ Arbitrarily design wildly imaginative visual styles
✗ Create extensive custom animations or effects
✗ Overturn the entire design system for a single project

If you expect a highly artistic, visually impactful showcase website,

frankly speaking, we're not a good fit.

06

This Isn't Limitation, It's Professional Choice

We're not "limiting client imagination," but rather using proven methods to help clients avoid unnecessary costs and risks .

A clear, stable, trustworthy website, in the long run,

is almost always more valuable than a "cool-looking but difficult-to-use" website.

We Can

  • ✓ Control costs
  • ✓ Guarantee quality
  • ✓ Reduce communication costs
  • ✓ Prevent design from spiraling out of control

This System

  • ✓ All websites are consistent and professional
  • ✓ Not derailed by personal preferences
  • ✓ Maintainable, scalable, usable long-term
